Interested in Drinking in a Brothel?

So am I!  If you’re into bizarre, suprisingly tasteful burlesque, STRONG drinks, and more vaudevillian counter-culture than you can handle sober, there’s one place in LA definitely worth checking out:  The Bordello Bar.The Bordello Bar cultivates the idea of a Victorian speakeasy in New Orleans, where saucy women entertain, equally tawdry rock combos serenade, and rolling a cigarette out front feels natural.

Apparently one of my friends will be performing there for the “Monday Night Tease” on the 16th.  But let’s face it, the Peepshow Menagerie just has cooler posters.

Incidentally, The Bordello actually was a real brothel once.  It’s hard to find much information, let me know if you can find anything about what was, apparently one of LA’s first cathouses.
